We did lots of fun things, but the best was our trip to the arboretum on Friday morning. We met mutual friend Andrea and her three kiddos also, and she was able to get us all in free! Thanks Andrea!
The weather was absolutely gorgeous, and their Dallas Blooms event was still on. For those of you who've never been, the short explanation of that is the grounds are covered with thousands of bulb flowers in bloom - tulips, lilies, etc. It seemed to me that the azaleas were even more beautiful than normal also.
Lily smelling the tulips
Stomping puddles is even more fun with a buddy!
We adults kept busy corraling little people, and they were gleefully running amuck through all the color.

The winner of the place for the kids was the spouting frogs, which Grace particularly fell in love with.
Another big hit with Grace and me was the gigantic vine topiary display of Ferdinand the bull, complete with flowers he was smelling "just quietly" and the stinging bee, from the children's book. Very cute.

Kids in a row (Jacob and Paige, two of Andrea's kids, are the extras)
3 Beautiful girls, Julia (22 months), Grace (4 1/2) and Lily (20 months)
Still best buds: 14 years, two husbands, and 4 kids later!
Sweet Julia and her Mommy, Katie
My Beautiful first baby, Grace, hanging out with Mommy (and yes, I got my hair chopped, about 10 inches!)
forced sister love on a bench

Sunshine Girl strikes again!
Checking out the delicate white verbena; Lily was very careful touching all the flowers, which was good since we weren't supposed to be touching at all!
Thank you Eubanks, for letting us come and crash and party for a couple of days! we love you all . . .
