Lily with pneumonia

Within 30 minutes of me posting the last time, Lily's fever had gone back up to 103.7. Finally took her in to see her pediatrician in Wichita. (up until now it had been phone consults.) Thought he heard crackling in her chest and sure enough a chest x-ray showed pneumonia on one side. We're just treating her with high powered antibiotics at home and pumping her full of fever reducers. Her doctor thinks that will be all that's necessary unless she stops drinking, in which case we'll have her in the hospital!


She's better today, but the medicine is starting to break up her chest congestion and it hurts when she coughs. Also, she can't have any cough medicine at night, so sleeping is a challenge. Please continue to pray for continued recovery! We appreciate it!
